We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Pinchy. On Monday, school was cancelled due to icy and snowy conditions. When we got back on Tuesday, we needed to finish up our Science investigation with rubber band energy. That was fun! After lunch a letter arrived announcing the acceptance of Abby's hoagie, "The Patriot", for the Taste of Philly's menu for a limited time. Her persuasive letter really did the trick. Now that's really exciting!

It's official...I am at the Winfield Post Office awaiting the start of my journey. I wonder if Pinchy and I will pass each other in the air? This Lewisburg Dragon is very excited to represent Mrs. Hummel's 5th grade and Linntown Intermediate School. My new traveling bag

Look at my new traveling bag! Bucknell University is such a part of our community, so Mrs. Hummel thought Mrs. Down's class might like it. Lewisburg is also known for its special street lights. Mrs. Hummel found a pewter version for Class 8.

Meet Ember the Dragon!

Hi! My name is Ember. I am preparing for my journey to the UK to spend time with the students in Mrs. Down's Year 4/5 class.

Welcome to Linntown Intermediate. We are just inside the doors where the students enter the building.

Next stop...the Linntown office to sign in. Had to have my picture taken with some of Mrs. Hummel's students, and of course their principal, Ms. Reber. Now that I have signed in, are you ready for a tour of the building?
